Marshmallow roots - 100g

Latin name: Radix Althae officinalis (mundatae)

Description: Perennial gray-green herbaceous plant, with short, thick rhizome and up to 50cm long whitish roots. Steam upright, cylindrical, hollow, up to 2 m high, Leaves consecutive slightly cut, the upper ones are whole. Colors from white to pale pink and rarely to red. Blooms July-August.

Application: Relieves symptoms of cough, shortness of breath and hoarseness. It has a beneficial effect on stomach, intestinal and diarrhea dysfuncion. Helps trat inflammation of the kidneys and bladder, as well as white flow.

Method of preparation: 1 tbsp. finely cho[[ed medicated marshmallow root is poured with 500ml of cold water and left to stand for 1 hour, then filtered. It is recommended to take 5-6 times a day for 1 tbsp.

Note: The use of medicated marshmallow roots for cought is not recommended for young children and infants under 3 years of age, unless under the supervision of a specialist.
