Has positive effect against: Cough, bronchial catarrh, whooping cough, asthma, colds. Pain relief for rheumatism and arthritis. It is also used against neurosis and insomnia, epilepsy, headache. Externally - with facial neuralgia, joint pain, gout, migraines and sunburn. It has diuretic and anti-rheumatic effect.
Use: As an expectorant, nerve relaxing and light laxative. 2-3 cups of tea a day.
Preparation: 1 teaspoon roots mixed with 1/4 l. of water, after boiling steep 5 minutes.
Note: May cause allergic reactions, especially on skin. Must not be prescribed to pregnant women and patients who are sensitive to aspirin.
