Latin name: Semen Lini Foeniculum Linum usitatissimum L. (Linaceae)
It has positive effect against: cough, shortness of breath, chronic constipation, atony of the colon and obesity, atherosclerosis, difficult urination, diabetes, inflammation and gravels and bladder, stomach and intestinal inflammation and pain, sore throat, as the softener means in airway inflammation, burns, boils. It has anti-inflammatory and purgative action.
Use: As purgative- 2 times a day; tea (inflammation) to drink or gargle.
Preparation: 1 teaspoon seed was mixed with 1/4 l. of cold water, soak for 1 hour. Drink before eating. Externally, pounded and mixed with hot water, coated onto a gauze, is applied in the form of compress. Mixed 1:1 with protein for burn wounds.
